Possibly married Geneva/Genevia E. Brown, 9 Jun 1906, Detroit, Wayne County, MI He is not with Katherine & Inza in the 1900 or 1910 census, but appears back in Rome with his mother in 1920, as a widower. In 1900 and 1910, there is a Nathaniel B. Marriott in Manhattan and Buffalo, respectively, with wife Geneva. In 1900, they appear to have a daughter, Irene W. Marriott, born May 1891, in Illinois. If this is the same Nathaniel, then it seems whe was maintaining two families, from the early 1890s. In the 1910 census, he claimed to have been born in England. I believe I found Geneva Brown, in Poughkeepsie, with parents, Samuel P. and Julia, and younger brother Samuel. |
