Sources

From "The Gentleman's magazine, Volume 184", page 671 At Over Silton, Yorkshire, age 64, the Rev. Christopher Easterby Swales, Perpetual Curate of that place, to which he was presented in 1822, by Trinity coll. Cambridge. No specific date was given for his death, and the age seems not to jive with his age in the 1841 census, however it seems to be the same person.
