His will is signed by Christopher Swales, who could be this John's brother. Also, in his father John's will, the son is apparently without children, though it seems odd he did not marry until he was 34. Possibly he married and lost a first wife. It is also possible these are the right relationships, but the wrong christening, though father in this christening was John, and the date seems to jive with the other children of John and Hannah Stonehouse Swales.
