Bit of a mystery here.  John was christened in 1682, son of Christopher, but Christopher's wife Ann
 died in 1674, and no sign of him remarrying.  He himself died in 1683, unless perhaps we are
 conflating two Christophers.

 Buried in the same area of the St. Peters Churchyard as William
 Swales & Family:

		  of John Swales who

		   the 9th day 1755
		    aged 73 years

 His will indicates he had a sister named Mary Rogers.
