Served in the Australian Air Force as a Teletype Operator from 1945 to 1946. Employed at least from 1942 to 1945 by the Adelaide Steamship Co. Ltd., as a Provisioning Clerk. He was cremated on 20 Aug 1993 at the Newcastle Crematorium at Beresfield. His residence at the time of his death was 42 Bridges Road, New Lambton.
