Notes:
Census shows he was born between 1760 and 1769.
Probably died before 1840. 1830 census shows his with William and
Henry in Sandy Creek, but I think this Henry may actually be Harvey,
since we know Jason was born in Sandy Creek in 1831, and no other
Wright's are there in 1830. Harvey sold his land in Sandy Creek to
Paul in 1836 for a dollar.

I'm not absolutely certain that our Paul Wright is this one, the son of
Josiah Wright of Saybrook, CT, but there is some suggestive evidence.
First, the name (oddly uncommon at that time) and age match. Second,
a family history of Josiah Wright indicates that his son Paul moved
to Eastern NY and raised a large family. Third, there is a Josiah
Wright in Sandy Creek in 1840, who is likely another son of our Paul
Wright. Finally, DNA matches appear to confirm this relationship.
