maybe born 15 Jan 1861 The Wright bible has Eddie S. (or G.) Wright stamped in it. His signature is in Nellie's autograph book, 4 Sep 1887, Rochester, NY His date of death is not carved in the marker in Maple View Cemetery. The 1870 census shows Eldridge Wright, age 8. The person in the 1900 census is listed as Sherman Wright, born Jan 1863, but I think it is him. The name of his son, E. Harold (actually Harold E.) Wright is in the Wright bible. The age is off in the 1910 census, but otherwise it seems to be a match. His marital status is listed as M1, with S written over it, his wife Minnie A. Wright had died the previous year. Edward H. is living there with him. In 1946 obituary of Charles L. Wright, he is listed as living in Brooklyn. |
