Possibly born in Walpole, NH Levi is described as a pioneer settler at Felts Mills, Jefferson County. In 1840, the census lists Lyman, not Levi, however, there are people in the household matching the age of Levi & Kezia. We believe that Levi is the father of our ancestor Samuel Stearns, since they are living together in a number of town in Jefferson County, as well as from other circumstantial evidence. So far, we have no really hard evidence. |
