Notes:
Birthplace from 1851 census. Christening date from IGI.
I believe Charlotte is Elizabeth's daughter, not her sister,
even though she was christened as the daughter of Elizabeth's parents.
She may have been conceived out of wedlock in Kent, and prompted the move
to Yorkshire. In 1851, the census shows her as granddaughter to James and
Elizabeth. And, in the 1861 census, we find Charlotte's
daugther living with Daniel & Elizabeth Swales, listed as granddaughter.
