Clara was missionary in the Pillar of Fire Church. Belleview Cemetery,
where she is buried, is owned/managed by the Pillar of Fire Church.

The following is a transcription of a brief, undated autobiography of
Clara B. Haresign, kindly provided by the Pillar of Fire:

                   CLARA B. HARESIGN

Born in 1893, about three miles from Oswego, New York, where I lived
until I was thirteen years old. We then moved to Oswego, living there
until I entered the Pillar of Fire. I attended the Methodist church,
went to the altar at a camp meeting when twelve years old. I professed
to be a Christian after that, but was never satisfied and kept praying
 and seeking the Lord.
When about nineteen years old I subscribed for the Pillar of
Fire paper from a missionary who came into a business place where I was
working. I afterward bought some of the books published by the Pillar
of Fire, read the paper four years, and during an illness God called
me to come into the Pillar of Fire. I was converted June 23, 1916. I
then had the experience I had been seeking for years; I knew my heart
was right with God. Some months after this, God showed me the carnal
nature and after days of prayer the Lord sanctified me.
I stayed at Zarephath ten months; then went to Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, where I did missionary work for five years. My time has
been spent mostly in doing missionary work in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana,
 Utah, and Nebraska.
