The name Hamlin is from "Orwell Remembered", but there is no Elmina/Almina Hamlin
in the census for 1850, 1860 or 1870. Possibly it is a married name from
a previous marriage, tough the 1910 census seems to indicate this was her first. There
were Hamlins in Orwell, and there was a Harriet about the right age.
