From his second wife's obit, died of drowing in the Adirondacks. Not completely certain the George in the 1900 census is the same, but everything fits. He even initially put down married 20 years, and then changed to 14. Also, he died in 1904, and Elizabeth is listed as a widow in 1910. From his second wife's obit, Mabel (G. Edwards) lived in Sweet Briar, VA, and Clarence lived in Middleton, NH, in 1945.
