Frank's father appears to had deserted his family shortly after his birth. His mother was arrested for stealing and pawning a gold chain in 1904, to pey the rent.
He daughter testified to this and that she was raising six children, which matches records of her living children. Frank's younger brother Fred Maund (who died in 1914)
was named after a man, Fred Maund, who was living with the family in 1911, and then died in WWI.
