William Francis Swales

A monument, and various obituaries suggest there were as many as 7 more children. Names on the menument are Aloysius, Aloysius II, Geneva, John, Lenehan, Sheredin and Violet. Some of these may not be chindren of Frank and Frances. There is a Violet Swales, age 8 in the 1940 census, the neice of Catherine Bowman. They are within a couple houses of Theresa (Swales) and James Young. Mignonette married someone named Means and had a son Charles H. living with them in 1920 and 1930. In 1900, she is listed as Ellar M. In 1920, there is a 5 year old granddaughter, Frances M. Hampton living with them, born in DC, father from South Carolina.
