1800 Christening

 This relationship may not be valid.  In addition to this christening, there is a christening
 for another Ann Swales, 13 Jul 1796, Loftus, also with parents William & Elizabeth Swales.
 And, there is a marriage, 30 May 1824, Ann Swales and William Blenkhorn.  They lived to old age in
 Loftus, but she appears to have been born about 3-5 years earlier than either of these christenings.

 When her brother Daniel Swales married Elizabeth Russell in 1842, the marriage was witnessed by
 an Ann Herbert, as well as (probably his brother) William Swales.  This Ann Herbert
 is also a mystery, since the only Ann Herbert in the census of 1841 anywhere near Brotton was an 18 year old girl in Marske.
